Foreword

The inhabitants of Portsmouth lovingly call their city "Pompey" (pompee).

As it took us months and months to find out the right places to go we thought it might be useful for all the newcomers in Portsmouth and surrounding areas to have a little help of experienced and sorely tried foreigners. Good luck!

The Loo Guide

Where to go when you have to go somewhere

Unfortunately we haven’t tested each & every scene of crime referring to this topic but we have experienced some Loo-calities.

For urgent emergencies you better be in/near

The Town House: with beautiful mirrors
5th Avenue: with a condom dispenser "in various flavours" (for different emergencies) and a sofa for drunks and lovers.
Rosie´s Vineyard: Worth a visit for lovers of old-fashioned ceramics. Do not visit it drunken - you are likely to fall down the small steps.
Cascades: difficult to find!
Mermaid: good as everything else with background music

We are sorry for all our male readers that we haven’t tested the Gent’s section. It has nothing to do with discrimination but with the annoyed reaction of the users when the (female) authors tried to enter the holy shrines of male domain.

Afterword

It is only natural, that everyone has a different taste. We tried to give and write the best we could. Besides there is the possibility that the sites have changed throughout the years.
